Our facility has been designed to also cater to breeding (artificial or live),
pregnant mares, and mares with foals at their side. A separate barn, with (7) extra
large 10X14 ft. stalls, (3) isle fans, (4) wall mounted fans and a wash bay with hot and
cold water, provides pregnant mares and mares with foals a quiet home with less traffic
than the main barn. Each stall also has its own electrical outlet for heat lamps, additional
lighting and/or fans. Additional options include; in-stall foaling cameras, a four time per
day feeding schedule, special exercising or turnout and more!

Our goal is to provide whatever level of care the horse owner wants for his/her horse.
Premium board includes; feeding (grain and hay), monthly worming, mucking, bedding, turn-out and
use of any of our 100X200 ft. indoor arena, 184X223 ft. outdoor arena, or (2) 70 ft. round pens.
We feed a high quality tri-feed and use a revolutionary ABM bedding which reduces waste and dust.
Boarders also are given their own area in our separate, large and secure Boarder Tack Room.
Many other options are available to every boarder. Some of these include: Feed upgrades to
Purina Strategy pellets, bathing, grooming, hoof care, blanketing, (in winter months), exercising,
administration of medications/supplements, training, riding lessons and farrier or veterinary services!

Children, teens and adults alike enjoy our interactive approach to riding instruction.
Fun, yet focused, our riding lessons encourage growth, knowledge and experience for riders of
any level. Offering private, semi-private and group lessons in western, hunt seat and dressage,
there is something for everyone. Understanding that different people learn in different ways
and at different paces, each rider has an opportunity to reach his/her greatest potential.
Flexible scheduling and lesson times, including some weekends and multiple instructors are
available for our students' convenience. Our schools horses are clean, sound, extremely safe,
and have extensive training for all levels of riding. We provide lesson tack and grooming
supplies for each of our horses and safety headgear for each student's use - or you can bring
your own! Lessons are also offered to those with their own horse whether it is at our facility
or yours. Riding instruction continues year round in our 184X223 ft. outdoor or 100X200 ft.
indoor arena in inclement weather. Family and friends are welcome to watch lessons in our
comfortable, climate controlled viewing and vending area!

In today's busy world, not everyone has the time to keep his or her horse sparkling clean.
For our boarder's convenience, we offer a full spectrum of grooming options. As often as you
like, we will bathe your horse with premium or medicated shampoo, pick out the mane and tail,
or pick out and polish their hooves. Another option is just a good currying and brushing.
Mane pulling and clipping is also available. We will even take care of the dreaded sheath
cleaning that every gelding owner puts off doing. Your horse will appreciate the extra attention
and you will feel better knowing that your horse looks its best! Also, for a small additional
fee (with advance notice to assure that we have qualified personnel available), we will have
your horse saddled and ready for you to ride as soon as you enter the Ranch!

I f you have a green horse, a problem horse or want to further your horse's
existent training, once again, we can help! Training is available in western; hunt
seat, jumping or dressage. Our experienced trainers will also start your weanling
or yearling with groundwork, lunging, bathing and loading. Using a gentle, effective
approach, we encourage a good work ethic in the horse so the learning process is a pleasurable one!

Keeping your horse in shape for competition trails or just for overall good health is vital.
While you may not have time to come out to the barn every day, we can make sure your horse is getting
its daily workout. As one of your custom boarding options, we will ensure that your specified exercise
regimen is followed in one of our (2) 70 ft. round pens. This will also ensure a fit and relaxed horse
when you can make it out to ride!

Let us take care of your horses' shoeing needs! Using our experienced and gentle farrier,
or yours. We will keep track of and arrange for your horse or pony to be trimmed, shoed or reset.
With our special designated farrier's bay, we are fully equipped with a farrier's chute designed
for the safety of the horse and farrier!

The health of your horse is of utmost importance to us at The Friesian Empire & Equine Center.
We currently have two on-call veterinarians that are just as dedicated to ensuring the current
and future health of your horse. It is required that all horses on the property are current
on vaccinations and worming at all times! Boarders have a contract stating who he or she would
like to treat their horse, whether it is our vet or yours. In case of emergencies, both of our
vets are available at any time. The OSU Veterinary Hospital is also conveniently located within
20 minutes of our facility. Medical maintenance or special needs are taken care of by our
knowledgeable staff, which includes a licensed veterinary technician, fully capable of administering
required medications, supplements or therapies!

What child wouldn't want to have ponies at their Birthday party or special
event? Pony rides are perfect for any event with children, at our location.
We offer affordable rates for up to 6 ponies for 8 hours of equestrian
fun. Kids of all ages enjoy our clean, mature and safe ponies. All of our
ponies have years of experience in the pony party business and thoroughly
enjoy the children and the attention. The Birthday boy or girl also gets to
choose from our western apparel to become the cowboy or cowgirl they've always
dreamed of being. Party favors and Polaroid's make your pony ride occasion
a memorable one!

a horse hauling service running to most locations. Our trailers are top quality and are well kept,
not only for your horses safety but comfort as well. With affordable rates, you and your horse will
never miss out on another equestrian event again!

We offer horse brokerage and/or consignments. Keeping the future of our horses and clients in mind,
we never sell horses at auction. New homes must be owner approved before any sale is complete.
When helping purchase a new horse, compatibility of horse and rider is the number one concern.
The prospective horse's health, disposition and training level are also of the utmost importance!

No matter what the weather, you can still enjoy horses in our large indoor arena.
Our 100X200 ft. completely indoor riding arena is accessible from the barn without ever having
to be exposed to the outside elements. With irrigation and soil additive, this arena is virtually
dust free with perfect footing for any type of riding. A daily dragging schedule also helps to
keep our arena in the best condition for you and your horse!
